Maude joined TIDO of Boston Children's Hospital in 2008. Maude’s role is to initiate, develop and realize partnerships and alliances between Boston Children’s and industry partners that create value at all stages of development, and including pre-clinical and clinical investigation. Working closely with Boston Children’s investigators and corporate partners, Maude connects groups with complementary R&D objectives and resources, and designs creative partnership structures for mutual benefit. She is currently managing Boston Children’s participation in Pfizer’s Centers for Therapeutic Innovation and the ongoing alliance with Shire around developing new therapeutics for rare diseases.
Prior to being Assistant Director, Business Development and Strategic Initiatives, Maude was a licensing manager at TIDO and was responsible for managing and licensing technologies arising out of the Vascular Biology Program, as well as the Urology and Respiratory Diseases Departments. Prior to joining Boston Children's, she worked for Xanthus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an oncology drug development company in Cambridge, MA, where she acted as Business Development Manager and Project Manager. Maude received her Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and earned her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, Canada, in the department of Medical Biophysics. During her graduate work under the mentoring of Dr. James R. Woodgett, she identified and characterized a novel kinase involved in cancer.

David joined TIDO of Boston Children's Hospital in 2000 as a temp and worked his way into the Marketing and Communications Specialist position. In his current role, David manages the office's Web site and written communications, and actively seeks to partner Children's technologies with industry. Prior to joining Boston Children's, he completed an internship at the BMG Music Group's copyright department in NYC. Additionally, David plays the bass guitar in a local rock band and is an amateur marathon runner. David holds a B.A. in Music with a specialization in business from the University of Hartford, Hartt School.
